Why this exists
Meseretna was started by a father of five who wanted his own children to learn Tigrinya and keep it for life. He couldn't find a good way to teach them, so he began building one. It is made for children and the families who teach them. We are still growing, and we say openly that not every story has been checked by a native speaker yet. If you see a word or a detail that isn't right, please tell us.
